i first heard talk show on some 90s online radio station, and after about 5 times of them playing "Hello Hello"... it got stuck in my head. To me it sounded like U2 with STP instrumentals, and because it sounded like STP I was automatically interested in it. Little did I know it basically WAS Stp.
Now... here's where the band falls short. Simply put, no Scott Weiland. Just like Army of Anyone, just like Velvet Revolver... it's apparent how empty this album is without the other part. Wh
Personally, I really like the Talk Show album, and musically it seems pretty much identical to STP (with good reason). I wish Scott would cover a few of these songs, just for kicks.
I AM VERY HAPPY THAT STP IS RELEASING A NEW ALBUM... I AM EXCITED AS WELL FOR SCOTT WEILAND BECAUSE I HEARD HIS CHRISTMAS SINGLE AND HIS VOICE SOUNDS AMAZING... I HOPE THE NEW ALBUM WILL HAVE SOME OF THAT CROONING VOICE... I AM ALSO A MUSICIAN AND AM GREATLY INFLUENCED BY STONE TEMPLE PILOTS... I THINK MY BAND WILL LIKE STP FANS AS WELL..

Hi, everyone, here's a friend from a country called Costa Rica. I've heard more than 3 times that STP would be able to come to CR for a music festival (another ones that are suppossed to perform there are: No Doubt, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand). For sure I like it to be true (talking about Pilots) but I need someone to tell me what's going on about it, I mean, it would be possible? Has somebody heard something like this already?
Please, Scott - De Leo bros - Erick, make us happy by coming here, will
Good call. I think you're right the intros were variations on Press Play and Daisy. This was actually the first time I've seen STP live and was not disappointed. I was a little bummed there was nothing from Shangri-La, only Trippin', Press Play and Daisy from Tiny Music plus Down and Sour Girl from No. 4, but honestly I would have been happy with any collection of songs as I believe each album built on the last in its own way. I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing their new materi
Well, this is the second time in 2009 that I have seen STP (8 times total). The other was back in July at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD. Both shows in 2009 have been stellar. The one last night in Greensboro was amazing. The guys really seem tight musically and sound outstanding. Scott seems all about the music and is proving why he's the best front man ever. I do miss him being more animated at times, but I'll take this version of Scott and feel bl
My Name is Scott Valentine and I'm the lead singer of Black Hat Villain, a rock band from Victoria, BC, Canada. I've been incredibly inspired by STP and Scott Weiland since high school many moons ago along with Eddie and Kurt and other great voices of our generation.
BHV has created something pretty magical and although we're just getting the wheels turning in this giant machine they call "The Biz" we certainly hope some of you might find the inclination/inspiration to check out
