I went to this show, got my tickets at 7:30 when the concert was sceduled to begin. I got the tickets comped from the casino. Well, I ended up geting seats front row center! STP was f*cking amazing. They put on an awesome show and sound great! This was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. The arena was pretty much a full house.
My buddy called me with a freebie ticket at the last minute for this show. I couldn't make it, unfortunately. Was anyone here at this show? I'm just curious if they only used half the arena, as they did in New Hampshire. With Mohegan at 18,000 capacity that seems to make sense, since NH was not even full at half-arena.
I was there too and I agree it was an absolutley fantastic show, the band sounded incredible and I thought Scott was just terrific.
That said, I'm worried about Scott after reading about what went down at PNC.
I traveled from Upstate New York to Wallinford, CT just to see this band and it was worth every penny. On July 8th I'll take the 30 min drive up I-87 to see them in my hometown Glens Falls, NY.
I just hope I get to see another Wallingford and not another PNC.
Yes I grew tired of all the yelling about the PNC show and how wacked out Scott looked! Here is my gripe: The set list was almost exact to the Sun show just 5 days earlier. (Queenie and Suit were cut due to time I guess) I know the band has issues and I have loved them since '92, but as I waited at PNC for them to go on I wondered what different songs I would hear...NONE! All the gripe about going on late and Scott being a mess...yes yes they are rock stars; but the same songs back to back in the 'NY me
Scott is in bad shape. He needs help!! I went to the Wallingford Ct show and I was lucky to get a good show. Scott did have to walk off stage at one point for some unknown reason.
I got beat years ago when they cancelled a rare club show at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. This was to be one of 3 shows I think, NY LA and Chicago. I really didn't get beat out of money because it was a win ticket show only. What I mean is I got beat of a rare show that if it happened would have something to look ba
I agree. Last night show was horrible. I saw them a week ago in CT and they sounded incredible. Scott was on point and they did not take over 90 minutes to get on the stage. Musically, the band sounded phenonimal its just that Scott was the problem. The two shows were night and day and Im ashamed that I paid $70 a ticket to see that train wreck. After seeing them last week I thought Scott was on the right foot clearing all his demons. After last night I see thats obviously not the case. I think the only
im from CT too near hartford. went to the mohegan sun also, best concert i have ever been to!!! i've posted this like 3 times already on here just wanting to share the experience. absolutely unbelivable to have the entire crowd singing virtually every lyric to all my favorite STP songs. scott and the band were totally on top of it monday night! to feel that energy flowing through the crowd was really a spiritual experience for me. i'd love to hit up jersey show at the borgata but it's already sold out.
