    I live on a sailboat in Alaska, and have discovered a new fan base. The Dall Porpoises(Porpae?) here in Southeast Alaska are very sociable and curious around people. They are often seen playing alongside boats, doing laps around the hull as you speed through the water, only the fastest boats can match their speed.

    I've had it, I mean I have just fucking had it! I am sick and tired of the way the record industry is ruining the music listening experience by hard limiting during the mastering process. The loudness war has got to stop! I've heard more than 3 times that STP would be able to come to CR for a music festival (another ones that are suppossed to perform there are: No Doubt, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand).     Good call.  I think you're right the intros were variations on Press Play and Daisy.  This was actually the first time I've seen STP live and was not disappointed.  I was a little bummed there was nothing from Shangri-La, only Trippin', Press Play and Daisy from Tiny Music plus Down and Sour Girl from No. 4, but honestly I would have been happy with any collection of songs as I believe each album built on the last in its own way.  I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing their new materi

    constantly on the look-out for excellent live music performances... I was no crazed stp fan before deciding to check out their show... on the fence, i dismissed mixed online reviews and luke warm opinions from friends, and drove 1 1/2 hrs (solo no less) to catch their gig and see for myself.

    This show was right up there with the top performances I've seen.... not only was I thankful to be in the company of a truly cool audience but floored by Stone Temple Pilots and their stellar musicianship.
